LAUDERDALE LAKES, FL (Boca Post) — BSO is attempting to identify a 5-year-old child they say was dropped off at Park Lakes Elementary School; however, school officials say he is not a student there.

BSO tells Boca Post that at approximately 9:04 a.m., Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies were notified of a five-year-old child that was dropped off at Park Lakes Elementary school in Lauderdale Lakes. According to the school administration at Park Lakes Elementary, the child does not appear to be registered at the school. Deputies have made contact with the child and are unable to ascertain his first or last name or the names of his parent(s)/guardian. Anyone with information on this child is asked to contact BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).
