BSO Searches for Missing 14-year-old Last Seen in Lauderdale Lakes

BSO detectives are asking the public for help locating a 14-year-old girl last seen May 30 in Lauderdale Lakes.

BSO detectives are asking for help locating a missing 14-year-old last seen near the 3200 block of West Oakland Park Boulevard in Lauderdale Lakes.

LAUDERDALE LAKES, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are searching for a missing 14-year-old girl and are asking the public to help locate her.

BSO’s Missing Persons Unit said the girl went missing last Saturday. Investigators said she was last seen on May 30 near the 3200 block of West Oakland Park Boulevard in Lauderdale Lakes.

BSO identified the missing teen as Georchel Cephas. Detectives described her as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and about 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Investigators said she was last seen wearing a multicolored dress.

The case is being handled by the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit. BSO is asking anyone who has information about her whereabouts to contact BSO Missing Persons Detective Chris Blankenship at 954-321-4268.

Tips can also be reported to the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).

Residents in Broward County and nearby areas should watch for the teen and contact BSO if they have information that could help detectives locate her.
