BSO detectives are asking for the public’s help to locate a 79-year-old woman last seen near the 4300 block of Northwest 36th Way in Lauderdale Lakes.

BROWARD COUNTY, FL — Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are searching for a missing 79-year-old woman and are asking the public to help locate her.

BSO’s Missing Persons Unit is looking for Carol Lewis, 79, according to a release from the agency.

Investigators said Lewis was last seen at about 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, near the 4300 block of Northwest 36th Way in Lauderdale Lakes.

Lewis is described as about 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 120 pounds, with white hair and blue eyes.

BSO is the agency handling the case through its Missing Persons Unit. Anyone with information about Lewis’ whereabouts is asked to contact BSO Missing Persons Detective Chris Blankenship at 954-321-4268.

Tips can also be reported to the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).

Residents who live or work near the 4300 block of Northwest 36th Way in Lauderdale Lakes, or who may have seen Lewis around midday Saturday, are asked to call. Anyone who may have information is urged to report it directly to BSO using the numbers provided.
