TAMARAC, FL — Unfortunately the detectives, from the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit have reported that they have found the body of Merit A. Mullings, a 77 year individual who was reported missing from Tamarac.

Investigators reported that Mullings was found by the Fort Lauderdale Police Department in a body of water near the 3200 block of Northeast 58th Street around 11;23 a.m. Sunday (Sept 15). He was declared deceased at the scene by authorities, from Fort Lauderdale Police who are currently looking into the details surrounding his passing.

An elderly individual went missing. A notification was sent out on Saturday evening for a 77 year old who was last spotted in their neighborhood at around 7 p.m. specifically in Fairview Drives 8000 block on Friday night before that.
