Kenneth Ernst Of Pompano Beach Passed Away After Deadly Accident

POMPANO BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — 32-year-old Kenneth Ernst has passed away after a deadly motorcycle accident in Pompano Beach on Thursday, November 17th, 2022.

According to Broward Sheriff’s Office, the Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating a crash that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist in Pompano Beach.

At around 1 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 17, Broward County Regional Communications received a crash call near the 2300 block of West Atlantic Boulevard in Pompano Beach. Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded.

The preliminary on-scene investigation revealed Carmen Flores was traveling eastbound in a 2007 Honda CR-V on Atlantic Boulevard. At some point, Flores made a left turn onto Northwest 23rd Avenue and entered the path of Kenneth C. Ernst, who was traveling westbound on a 2015 Honda motorcycle on Atlantic Boulevard.

According to investigators, Ernst sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported by paramedics to Broward Health North. He was later pronounced deceased at 3:45 p.m.

BSO says that the investigation is ongoing.
