Beverlee Bearman-Reiter Passed Away
DELRAY BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — An 82-year-old woman was killed in a car accident in Delray Beach on Friday.
According to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, Beverlee Bearman-Reiter, 82, of Boynton Beach, was traveling south on Jog Road in the left turning lane in a Fiat 500.
At the same time, a 30-year-old man from Boca Raton was traveling northbound on Jog Road within the center lane in a Mercedes ES350.
Investigators say that as Bearman-Reiter turned left into the intersection with Morikami Park Road, she traveled into the path of the Mercedes. During the crash, the front of the Mercedes impacted the front of Bearman-Reiter’s Fiat. Bearman-Reiter was transported to Delray Medical Center for additional medical treatment. She was later pronounced deceased by hospital personnel at 2:19 p.m.
Investigators do not indicate that speed or impairment were factors in this crash.
