BOCA RATON, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office is on scene at 20816 Boca Ridge Dr in Boca Raton in response to a shooting call where a man accidentally shot himself in the leg.

Sources close to the incident have told Boca Post that a 65-year-old man is being transported to Delray Medical Center as a trauma alert. The shooting injury has been called an accidental gunshot wound.

The man allegedly shot himself in the leg one time with a .22 caliber pistol.
