3 Vehicle CRASH: US-441 & Loxahatchee Road In Coconut Creek
Head On Collision Near US-441 And Loxahatchee Road. 1 Air Lifted. No Casualties. No Life Threatening Injuries.

Coconut Creek Police Department has taken over the crash investigation as it was in their jurisdiction. CCPD provided the following statement to Boca Post:
A white Honda tried to turn west onto Loxahatchee from northbound State Road 7 when it crossed into the path of a gray Toyota heading south on State Road 7. A third car, a Ford, that happened to be stopped at a light at the intersection was also hit by the Honda. The 18-year-old driver (man) of the Honda, along with a 17-year-old front seat passenger (girl), were injured. They were transported to Broward Health Coral Springs for treatment. Both have been released. A 15-year-old (boy) backseat passenger in the Honda was transported to Broward Health General in Fort Lauderdale for treatment of his injuries. To my knowledge he is still in the hospital this morning. His injuries were non-life threatening. The drivers of the other two cars involved were not seriously hurt. The crash investigation is ongoing. No charges have been filed at this time.
Coral Springs Parkland Fire Rescue has confirmed that 4 people were injured in the crash. 1 victim was air lifted to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale. 2 were transported by ground to Broward Health Coral Springs. 1 was said to have refused transport.
None of the injured parties are in life threating condition and there are no casualties.

Boca Raton, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — A crash involving two vehicles occurred at around 11pm on Wednesday night (2/9/22) near the intersection of US-441 and Loxahatchee Road.
What we know now is that the call originated at around 10:10pm. Coral Springs Parkland Fire Rescue has confirmed that a young person was transported by Broward Sheriff Air Rescue to Broward Health Medical Center.
Boca Post readers have reported that they observed the helicopter landing at a nearby church parking lot.
The accident appeared to be a head on collision. US-441 in the area of Loxahatchee Road was reported to be closed for several hours after the accident. Boca Post readers reported to us that it was closed as late as 2am.
The call first came in and was published by Boca Post as an ‘ACCIDENT WITH INJURIES’ call at approximately 10:10pm.
