Andrew Frazer Arrested, Charged With Attempted Murder

POMPANO BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — BSO arrested 41-year-old Andrew Frazer for attempted murder after a brutal stabbing attack in August.

Investigators, from the Broward Sheriffs Office Violent Crimes Unit apprehended a man from Pompano Beach who was wanted for attempted murder following a stabbing incident.

On Monday, September 11th detectives arrested Andrew Frazer, aged 41 in connection with a stabbing that left a victim in condition. The attack occurred at 1;15 p.m. On Tuesday August 15th near the 300 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. That is when deputies responded to reports of an aggravated battery. Deputies found an adult woman with a stab wound and multiple fractures upon arrival at the scene. Immediate assistance was provided by the deputies until Pompano Beach Fire Rescue arrived and transferred the victim to a hospital.

Surveillance footage of the incident was released, revealing an individual arriving in a silver Chevrolet Traverse in that area. The victim was walking eastbound on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Boulevard while crossing Northwest Third Avenue when she was approached from behind by the suspect running southbound on Northwest Third Avenue. He then viciously attacked her by stabbing and beating her without provocation.

After the assault the perpetrator fled to his vehicle parked nearby. Drove away heading westbound on Northwest Fourth Street. Injured but determined the victim made her way, to an establishment where law enforcement authorities were immediately notified.

On August 19th the detectives were provided with information that allowed them to identify Frazer in the surveillance video. Along, with confirming his identity the investigation led the detectives to acquire an arrest warrant, for Frazer.

Frazer has been charged with attempted murder. Is presently being held at Broward County Main Jail.
