Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit have located a 68-year-old man missing from Pompano Beach.

According to detectives, Dan Garcia was located safe and unharmed in Lauderhill on Tuesday and reunited with his family.

A missing person alert was issued for Garcia on Saturday, Aug. 27, after he was last seen around 6:45 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 26, in the area of 2600 Northeast 15th Avenue in Pompano Beach.

POMPANO BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — The Broward Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help in locating 68-year-old Dan Garcia who was last seen Friday evening.

BSO’s Missing Person Unit reports that Dan Garcia was last seen around 6:45 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 26, in the area of 2600 Northeast 15th Avenue in Pompano Beach.

Garcia is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a blue and red checkered shirt, tan pants, and black shoes, as seen in the photo on the right above. According to his family, Garcia suffers from medical conditions requiring medication and dementia.
