POMPANO BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — Woman arrested for a fatal hit-and-run that killed one woman and injured another.

Deputies with the Broward Sheriff’s Office have arrested Ashley Nicole Bowman, 37, of Fort Lauderdale, for the deadly hit-and-run crash that happened just after 9 PM on Friday, March 7th, 2025.

The deadly hit-and-run crash occurred at the intersection of East Atlantic Boulevard and Pompano Beach Boulevard. Deputies from BSO district and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue arrived at the scene where they discovered Patricia and Salvatore Marciante with injuries of being struck by a vehicle.

Investigators reported that the driver, Ashley Nicole Bowman, 37, made a turn that resulted in hitting two pedestrians before fleeing the scene in Pompano Beach area of BSO (Broward Sheriffs Office). BSO deputies searched the vicinity for Bowman with the assistance of BSO’s Real Time Crime Center to locate the vehicle and eventually took Bowman into custody.

Bowman is now facing charges which include driving under the influence leading to manslaughter and serious injury as well as leaving the scene of an accident involving death and serious injury.
