Laura Cotos Of West Boca Passed Away After Deadly Boca Car Accident
BOCA RATON, FL – Boca Post (BocaPost.com) — The Boca Raton Police confirm that 33-year-old Laura Cotos has passed away after a single-vehicle crash in Boca Raton.
According to the Boca Raton Police Department, at approximately 12:45 pm, Friday, February 17, 2023, Boca Raton Police responded to a single-vehicle accident in the area of 1000 Spanish River Blvd. Traffic Homicide Investigators spoke to witnesses who said the vehicle was traveling westbound on Spanish River Blvd approaching the intersection of NW Broken Sound Blvd when the driver veered to the left and struck the center median. According to witnesses, the vehicle reentered the roadway and accelerated, colliding with a light pole.
Police say Cotos was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
