BOCA RATON, FL — Boca Raton Police are asking anyone who sees an 81-year-old man walking alone to call them right away.
Officers are searching for Moises Dorta, who has Alzheimer's and dementia and was last seen around 3:30 a.m. on July 21, 2026, according to Boca Raton Police. He was last seen along the 1500 block of Southwest 4th Circle and is believed to be on foot.
Police say Dorta was wearing a white shirt, knee-length shorts and sandals when he went missing. He is described as about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 130 pounds.
Because Dorta has Alzheimer's and dementia and may be traveling on foot, police are urging residents in the area — and anyone who spots a man matching that description — to reach out immediately rather than assume someone else has already called.
Boca Raton Police ask that anyone who knows where Dorta is, or who has information that could help locate him, contact the department at (561) 368-6201.
