BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) —  Boca Raton Police are investigating a shooting that killed 2 and injured 1 person near Palmetto Park Road and N Ocean Boulevard on Friday evening.

According to the Boca Raton Police Department, officers responded to the the scene near the 300 block of N Ocean Boulevard just after 6 PM. While on scene, officers located two people deceased. One person was transported to the hospital with gunshot injuries.

Investigators say that there was some sort of dispute near 365 Ocean, an extended stay hotel located at 365 N Ocean Boulevard in Boca Raton prior to the shooting. It is not yet confirmed if that dispute is related to the shooting.

All traffic was closed near the scene but has since re-opened as of 12 AM.
