Solange Alves Arroio De Lima, 59, Passed Away

POMPANO BEACH, FL — The Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit detectives are currently looking into the circumstances surrounding a tragic single vehicle accident that claimed the life of a woman from Coral Springs.

As per the investigators, the incident took place around 9;13 p.m. On Thursday, April 18, near the 3100 block of North Andrews Avenue Extension in Pompano Beach. The initial examination at the scene indicated that Solange Alves Arroio De Lima was driving southbound in a 2016 Hyundai Accent when, for reasons yet unknown, she lost control of her vehicle and veered off into a grassy area where she collided head on with a tree.

Emergency responders from Pompano Beach Fire Rescue arrived and pronounced her deceased at the scene.

The inquiry is ongoing.
