BROWARD COUNTY, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — BSO detectives are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 27-year-old man who was last seen in Pompano Beach.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office said detectives are looking for Omar Castonon Diaz. Detectives said Diaz was last seen around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, in the 2100 block of Southwest Second Street.

BSO provided a description to help residents identify him. Diaz is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes, and wears glasses.

Detectives said Diaz was last seen wearing blue jeans and a beige hooded sweatshirt with a dark blue shirt underneath.

He was also last seen carrying a blue bag while riding a gray Schwinn bicycle, according to BSO.

BSO is asking anyone who has information about Diaz’s whereabouts to contact BSO Detective Chris Blankenship at 954-321-4268. Tips can also be called in to the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).
