Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives said 15-year-old Jayden Kelly was safely located in Pompano Beach and has been reunited with his family.

The alert was issued after he was last seen Thursday, April 2, in the 2300 block of Southeast 12th Street in Pompano Beach, according to BSO.

BSO is the agency handling the case and provided the update that he has been located.

POMPANO BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 15-year-old who was last seen in Pompano Beach.

Detectives with the BSO Missing Persons Unit are looking for Jayden Kelly. BSO said he was last seen around 6 p.m. Thursday, April 2, in the 2300 block of Southeast 12th Street in Pompano Beach.

BSO described Jayden as about 5 feet 1 inch tall and about 100 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing red shorts and black crocs.

The investigation is being handled by BSO’s Missing Persons Unit. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact BSO Detective Chris Blankenship at 954-321-4268.

Residents can also call the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).
