FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — A 22-year-old pregnant woman and her baby died after being shot in Fort Lauderdale.

The person affected by this incident has been identified as Shambre Boyd, a 22 year old woman. On Monday, December 18th, at around 11;22 pm, the Fort Lauderdale Police Department (FLPD) and Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue (FLFR) responded to an alert from Shot Spotter in the 1300 block of NW 3rd Court. When they arrived at the scene, they found a pregnant woman who had been injured. FLFR provided immediate medical attention and transferred her to Broward Health Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead along with her unborn child. The investigation is still ongoing and this is all the information currently available.
