FDLE Issues Missing Child Alert for 16-year-old Reported Missing From Jasper

FDLE has issued a Florida Missing Child Alert for a 16-year-old girl reported missing from Jasper in Hamilton County.

FLORIDA (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — A Florida Missing Child Alert has been issued for a 16-year-old girl reported missing from Jasper in Hamilton County, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

FDLE identified the missing teen as Elissa McCarthy. She is 16 years old, female, white, with red hair and blue eyes. FDLE listed her height as 5 feet, 3 inches and her weight as 140 pounds.

The last known area provided in the alert is Jasper, in Hamilton County. FDLE did not release additional details in the alert about when she was last seen or what she was wearing.

Missing Child Alerts are statewide notices intended to help locate minors who are reported missing. The information is distributed so the public can recognize the child and report tips quickly to law enforcement.

Authority for the case sits with local law enforcement in Hamilton County. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office at 386-792-1001 or call 911.
