FLORIDA — The Byron Donalds campaign for Florida governor says it has raised more than $90 million ahead of the state's August Republican primary.

The Naples congressman's campaign and its affiliated political committee reported the milestone Wednesday, alongside back-to-back endorsements from two of Florida's top statewide officeholders.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier endorsed Donalds on Wednesday. Florida Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia followed with his own endorsement on Thursday.

According to the campaign's announcement, Byron Donalds for Florida Governor and the affiliated Friends of Byron Donalds political action committee raised more than $23 million between April 1 and June 30, described by the campaign as its best combined quarter to date.

Cycle-to-date fundraising now exceeds $90 million from more than 37,000 donors, according to the release. The campaign committee itself has raised more than $10 million, and the political committee has raised more than $80 million, the release said. Under Florida law, the campaign committee and the political committee are legally separate entities with different contribution limits and reporting rules.

The figures released by the campaign have not yet been independently verified through state or federal campaign finance filings.

Ryan Smith, identified in the release as chief strategist for Team Donalds, said in the announcement that "Byron is the clear conservative choice to lead Republicans into the General Election."

In a statement issued through the Donalds campaign, Uthmeier called Donalds "a Freedom Caucus conservative and proven Florida House leader" and cited shared priorities including support for law enforcement and abortion restrictions. Donalds, in the same release, said he was "honored" to have Uthmeier's backing.

Ingoglia's endorsement, released Thursday, focused on affordability and Florida's property insurance market. Ingoglia said in the campaign statement that Donalds' "time in the private sector makes him well-qualified to tackle issues like affordability and the insurance market in Florida." Donalds said Ingoglia's support reflects "a shared commitment to protecting Florida's conservative successes."

The campaign said the two endorsements follow earlier support from Florida's incoming House Speaker and Senate President, whom the campaign did not name in the release. The campaign also listed President Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Charlie Kirk, and Elon Musk among Donalds' endorsers, along with a majority of Florida sheriffs and more than 75 percent of Florida House Republicans, according to the campaign.

The fundraising update came alongside what the campaign described as a $20 million statewide television ad buy. The campaign also said its field operation has knocked on more than 180,000 doors across Florida. Neither figure has been independently verified.

The Donalds campaign releases did not name any Republican primary opponents.

Florida's Republican gubernatorial primary is scheduled for August. Palm Beach County and Broward County Republicans will be among those voting. Voter registration deadlines, mail ballot request windows, and early voting locations for both counties are set by the county supervisors of elections and the Florida Division of Elections.
