FLORIDA (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — A Florida Missing Child Alert has been issued for a 16-year-old boy last known to be in Ruskin in Hillsborough County, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

FDLE identified the missing teen as Jaiden Torres. He is described as a white-Hispanic male, 16 years old, with black hair and brown eyes. FDLE listed his height as 5 feet 11 inches and his weight as 120 pounds.

The last known area provided in the alert is Ruskin, in Hillsborough County.

FDLE is the state agency distributing the Missing Child Alert. The public-facing contact for tips is the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8200 or call 911.

For residents in South Florida, the practical takeaway is simple: the alert is active, the identifying details are limited to the description provided by FDLE, and the reporting channels are the sheriff’s office number and 911. If you believe you have information connected to this case, use those numbers so it reaches the agency responsible for the investigation and follow-up.

FDLE’s official flyer for the Missing Child Alert is posted on the agency’s website.
