A 61‑year‑old man lost his life in a two‑car crash on Dania Beach. Detectives, with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.

Investigators say that at 9:20 a.m. On Saturday Oct. 25 61‑year‑old Leonard Bulla was behind the wheel of a 2015 Nissan Murano, near the Southeast Second Avenue and Sheridan Street intersection. At the moment 26‑year‑old Flor Paz Rivas was driving a 2022 Honda Civic in the immediate vicinity.

Investigators say the early probe shows Bulla turned left into the lane occupied by Paz Rivas’s Honda, which led to the crash.

BSO deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded to the incident. Paramedics took Bulla to a hospital, for treatment but he later died on Sunday, Oct. 26.

The investigation presses onward undeterred.
