BSO said a 33-year-old woman reported missing from Dania Beach has been located and returned home safe and unharmed.

DANIA BEACH, FL — Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives have located a 33-year-old woman who was the subject of a missing persons alert in Broward County.

Detectives with the BSO Missing Persons Unit said Kalani Rountree has been located. Investigators said she returned home safe and unharmed.

The missing persons alert was issued after Rountree was last seen at about 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 12, near the 2700 block of Southwest 46th Street in Dania Beach, according to investigators.

BSO did not release additional details in its update on where she was found or what led to her return.

Authority for the case sits with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit, which issued the update.
