Featuring Former Members Of Rock Band Chicago

CORAL SPRINGS, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — Enjoy hits from Chicago and Earth Wind & Fire in this free, groovy concert in Coral Springs.

Dust off your bell bottoms, prepare to groove and get ready to have a great time as the City of Coral Springs brings you an extraordinary performance by former members of the iconic American rock band, Chicago. They will be playing all their hits and more at the city’s outdoor Community Concert on Saturday, February 10 from 5;30 to 9;30 p.m. The venue for this incredible event is City Hall Lawn located at 9500 W. Sample Road.

Chicago is renowned for their chart toppers like ‘Saturday in the Park,’ ‘You’re the Inspiration,’ and ‘Hard To Say I’m Sorry.’ Alongside these classics, they will also bring the energy with Earth, Wind & Fire’s hits like ‘Let’s Groove,’ ‘Boogie Wonderland,’ and ‘September.’ This concert guarantees a rocking evening in Coral Springs that you won’t want to miss. And the best part? It’s completely free for everyone in our community.

To start off this amazing concert experience, we have Spider Cherry, a locally recognized rocker who will kick things off with their fantastic opening act.

“There’s nothing more iconic than the energy and melodic sound from some of popular music’s most timeless acts – Chicago, Earth, Wind, & Fire and much more,” Mayor Scott Brook said. “I look forward to rocking the night away in celebration of our city’s achievements and progress.”

Additionally, apart from enjoying an evening filled with music and dancing, guests can treat themselves to delicious food from various food trucks or unwind with a refreshing cocktail available at our on site pop up bar. Furthermore, there will be numerous vendors selling a diverse range of goods and wares for those who want to browse and shop while they enjoy the festivities.
Guests are invited to wear their favorite ‘retro’ attire to commemorate the enduring music of the rock funk fusion revolution that has maintained its popularity over the years.

Entry to the event is complimentary. There is free parking available in the City Hall garage on site. As part of Coral Springs dedication to sustainability, guests who bring a reusable cup can enjoy free filtered water stations provided at the venue. Please note that food and beverages from vendors will incur additional charges.
