BROWARD COUNTY, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — A reward of up to $10,000 has been offered for any information regarding the tragic double homicide of a mother and her four year old daughter on the Turnpike.

The incident took place on June 7, 2024, around 11;14 p.m., near Mile Marker 49 just south of Hollywood Boulevard. The victims were identified as Beatrice Saintvil and her daughter Janelle Souffrant.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public in identifying the individual(s) responsible for this heinous act. Any details that could aid in solving this case are crucial and an increased reward is now being offered to encourage cooperation. On the night of June 7, authorities responded to reports of a shooting at the specified location. Upon arrival, they found both Saintvil and her daughter wounded from gunshot injuries inside a vehicle.

The car was parked in the left breakdown lane. Hollywood Fire Rescue arrived at the scene and took Saintvil to a nearby hospital where she eventually passed away. Unfortunately, her daughter was declared dead at the scene.

At the request of FHP, BSO detectives involved in homicide cases were called to the scene and are currently looking into this tragic shooting incident.
