BROWARD COUNTY, FL — DAVIE — Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a deputy-involved shooting reported near the 6300 block of Stirling Road in Davie, according to the BSO Public Information Office.
The incident was reported shortly after 7 p.m., when Broward County Regional Communications was notified of the deputy-involved shooting in that area, BSO said.
Deputies responded and were on scene investigating what BSO described as an active incident.
BSO said a Public Information Officer was expected to be on scene at about 9:30 p.m.
The investigation is being handled by BSO. No other details were released in the initial alert, including whether anyone was injured, what led up to the shooting, or whether any roads were closed.
