Man Shot, Killed In His Wilton Manors Home, Suspect At Large

WILTON MANORS, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — BSO is looking for the person who shot and killed a man in his Wilton Manors home on Sunday night.

The Broward Sheriffs Office is currently investigating a shooting incident in an area of Wilton Manors, which resulted in the death of an adult male.

Around 10;47 p.m. On Sunday September 10th the Broward County Regional Communications center received a report concerning gunshots, near the vicinity of 501 N.W. 28th Court in Wilton Manors. Officers from the Wilton Manors Police Department promptly responded to the scene. First responders discovered an adult male inside a house who had suffered gunshot wounds. The officers provided assistance until the victim could be transported to Broward Health North hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead.

As per protocol for deaths occurring within Wilton Manors, homicide and crime scene detectives, from the Broward Sheriffs Office were called upon to lead the investigation into this incident. It is worth noting that Marsys Law has been invoked by the victims family members.
