BSO said detectives with its Missing Persons Unit safely located a 66-year-old man after a missing persons alert in Pompano Beach.

BROWARD COUNTY, FL — BSO detectives have located a 66-year-old man who was the subject of a missing persons alert in Broward County.

Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit said 66-year-old Tarsicio Cruz was safely located. BSO released the update after issuing an alert when he was reported missing.

The missing persons alert was issued after Cruz was last seen at about 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, near the 500 block of Southwest Second Court in Pompano Beach, according to BSO.

BSO’s Missing Persons Unit handled the case and provided the update that he was found safe. No additional details were released by BSO about where he was located or the circumstances.
