FLORIDA — A Florida Silver Alert has been issued for a missing man last known to be in Sanderson, in Baker County, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

FDLE identified the missing person as David Whitehead, 65. He is described as a white male with gray hair and blue eyes. FDLE listed his height as 5 feet, 5 inches and his weight as 110 pounds.

The last known area provided by FDLE was Sanderson, Baker County.

Silver Alerts are statewide notifications used to help locate missing adults. In this case, FDLE is distributing the information and the local law enforcement agency handling tips is the Baker County Sheriff's Office.

Residents who may have seen someone matching the description, or who have information that could help locate him, are asked to contact the Baker County Sheriff's Office at 904-259-2861 or call 911.
