POMPANO BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help locating a 39-year-old woman reported missing from Pompano Beach.

BSO’s Missing Persons Unit said Erica Lowman was last seen at about 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, near the 800 block of Briny Avenue.

Investigators said she was wearing a blue shirt and jean shorts.

Lowman is described as about 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing around 100 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

According to her family, she experiences mental illness.

The case is being handled by BSO’s Missing Persons Unit. Anyone with information on Lowman’s whereabouts is asked to contact BSO Detective Leonard Charla at 954-321-4274 or call the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).

Residents who may have been in the area near the 800 block of Briny Avenue around the time she was last seen, or who recognize the description, are being asked to report what they know directly to BSO.
