Today’s Weather – Saturday, December 20, 2025

Boca Raton starts the day in good shape: mostly sunny skies and a warm afternoon. High temperature is expected near 80 degrees, which is pretty close to what you’d want for a December Saturday if you’re heading out early, running errands along Glades Road, or trying to squeeze in time near the Intracoastal.

Rain is not the main story today, but it’s not a total zero either. The forecast calls for a 20 percent chance of showers after 3 p.m. That’s a low-end chance, the kind of thing that may not hit most neighborhoods at all, but it’s enough to keep in mind if you’re out later in the day—especially if you’re moving between the I-95 corridor and the western suburbs.

Winds will be noticeable, though not disruptive. Expect a north wind around 8 to 10 mph this morning, then it turns east during the afternoon. That shift matters if you’re out on open roads like Lyons Road where you can feel it a bit more, or if you’re spending time outdoors when the late-day shower window opens.

Tonight stays fairly mild with a low around 71 degrees and partly cloudy skies. The shower chances linger at a low level through the night: there’s a slight chance of showers before 1 a.m., then another slight chance after 2 a.m. Overall precipitation chances remain 20 percent. Winds stay out of the east at 6 to 9 mph, so it’s not a windy night, just a little unsettled in spots.

7 Day Outlook

Sunday: Mostly sunny again with a high near 80. Winds are out of the northeast at 6 to 11 mph, which should keep the day feeling comfortable even with the warmer temperatures.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy with a low around 71. The breeze steps up compared to the previous night, with northeast winds at 11 to 14 mph and gusts up to 20 mph. Not extreme, but you’ll notice it—especially in more exposed areas closer to the Intracoastal and along the open stretches near I-95.

Monday: Mostly sunny, high near 78, and it turns more firmly breezy. Expect a northeast wind 15 to 18 mph with gusts up to 28 mph. This is the first day in the stretch where wind becomes the headline. If you’ve got lightweight outdoor items around the yard or patio, Monday is the kind of day they can get pushed around.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy with a low around 71 and it stays windy. Winds shift to the east at 18 to 21 mph with gusts up to 28 mph. That’s a steady, persistent breeze through the night, the type you hear more than you want to when you’re trying to sleep.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 78. Still breezy with an east wind 15 to 18 mph and gusts up to 24 mph. So the wind doesn’t fully let up, but it backs off a bit from Monday’s peak gust potential.

Tuesday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers before 1 a.m., otherwise partly cloudy with a low near 69. Winds shift back to the northeast at 13 to 15 mph with gusts up to 21 mph. Compared to Monday night, this is a calmer setup, but still not dead calm.

Wednesday: Sunny with a high near 77. Northeast winds continue at 13 to 15 mph with gusts up to 21 mph. The pattern looks steady: lots of sun, mild afternoons, and a regular breeze.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy with a low near 69.

Christmas Day (Thursday): Mostly sunny with a high near 77. A classic “good weather for being outside” forecast—at least based on what’s shown right now.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy with a low near 68.

Friday: Sunny with a high near 78 to close out the period.

Overall, the pattern is straightforward: limited shower chances (mainly today late and again Tuesday night), plenty of sun, and the bigger change is the wind—especially from Sunday night through Tuesday, with the strongest gusts showing up Monday and Monday night.
