BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — Several lines blocked on the Turnpike in Boca Raton caused traffic to back up.

The incident appears to have happened just north of the Palmetto Road overpass in unincorporated Boca Raton. Traffic was backed up for miles. See the video below.

While the lanes have re-opened, traffic is still moving extremely slow through Boca Raton while the cars that were backed up for miles are starting to proceed through.

FHP and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue are still on scene.
