BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — A new lawsuit filed in Palm Beach County accuses Boca West Country Club, Inc. of failing to pay more than half a million dollars allegedly owed for pool and water-feature construction at the club’s Boca Raton property. The case, brought by Weller Pools, LLC, was filed on December 2, 2025, in the Circuit Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit.

The complaint is captioned Weller Pools, LLC v. Boca West Country Club, Inc., Case No. 502025CA012490XXXAMB, Division AA. According to the filing, Weller seeks to foreclose a construction lien recorded against the property located at 20371 Country Club Blvd., Boca Raton, FL 33434. The suit states that the property is owned by Boca West Country Club and identifies it using Parcel ID Number 00-42-47-16-25-001-0000. (Complaint, p.1–2)

Weller alleges it entered into a subcontract with T&G Constructors in January 2022 to provide labor, services, and materials for pools, spas, a splash pad, waterfalls, and fountains as part of Boca West’s large-scale redevelopment project. The agreement, attached as an exhibit, describes the work as a portion of T&G’s responsibilities under its direct contract with Boca West. (Complaint, p.2)

The company states it began work on April 11, 2022, and last furnished labor or materials on October 14, 2024. A Notice to Owner was served on April 25, 2022, as required under Chapter 713, Florida Statutes. (Complaint, p.3)

According to the complaint, Weller invoiced T&G a total of $9,710,065.13 for its completed work. Of that, the contractor allegedly remains unpaid for $519,513.26, exclusive of pending change orders or additional claim items. Weller claims both T&G and Boca West accepted its work but refused to pay the outstanding balance. (Complaint, p.3)

The filing states that on December 6, 2024, Weller recorded a Claim of Lien in Palm Beach County’s Official Records—Book 35428, Page 1752—asserting the unpaid amount against the property. A copy of the lien is included as Exhibit A. (Complaint, p.3)

Weller alleges all conditions precedent to filing the suit have been met and that it timely initiated the foreclosure action within the statutory period. The company also seeks interest, costs, and attorneys’ fees pursuant to Chapter 713.29, Florida Statutes. (Complaint, p.4)

In its requested relief, Weller asks the court to adjudicate the amount owed, declare its lien valid and superior to other claims, enter a money judgment against Boca West, authorize the sale of the property interest to satisfy the lien, and, if necessary, issue a deficiency judgment against the defendant. (Complaint, p.4–5)

The lawsuit was filed by Ryan C. Phillips, P.A., of Orlando, representing Weller Pools. (Complaint, p.5)
