Mark Harmon Of Tamarac Passed Away

TAMARAC, FL — 31-year-old Mark Harmon died after crashing his motorcycle into a utility pole in Tamarac early on Saturday morning.

Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office say that Harmon was riding with a group of motorcycles when the crash happened at 12:44 AM on Saturday, June 10th, 2023.

According to detectives, Harmon was riding his 2012 Suzuki GSX-R100L near the 7800 block of West McNab Road when he departed the roadway and crashed into a light pole.

Harmon was declared deceased at the scene. Investigators say that the impact was so severe, it severed the concrete light pole at the base. Deputies say that excessive speed is considered a contributing factor to the crash.
