BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Boca Raton stays bright and mild today near 75, with a small shower chance Sunday afternoon and a brief uptick in offshore winds as a weak front moves through.

Today’s Weather – Saturday, January 3, 2026

Boca Raton is in for a clean, easy weather day. It’s sunny, the air feels comfortable, and the temperature tops out near 75. Winds start out light and variable, then settle in from the south at 5 to 9 mph as the morning goes on. The beach, the Intracoastal, and the I-95 corridor should all feel about the same: mild sunshine, just enough breeze to notice, and none of that muggy drag.

Tonight stays quiet, too. Skies go mostly clear, and the low drops to around 61. Winds turn southwest around 10 mph, which is enough to keep the air moving a bit, especially if you’re out later near the water or driving west toward Lyons Road where open areas can feel breezier at night.

In the bigger picture, the National Weather Service is calling this part of a gradual warming trend that continues through the weekend and into next week. High pressure is still in control, but it starts to loosen its grip today as a weak system approaches. The result for Boca is simple: still sunny and calm today, but you’ll notice a little more moisture and a bit more cloud cover by Sunday.

Marine snapshot (Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach out 20 NM)

For boaters and anyone watching conditions along the coast, seas are modest today. The forecast calls for southwest winds 5 to 10 knots, turning southerly late, with seas around 2 feet. The Intracoastal runs with light chop. Tonight, winds pick up some—southwest 10 to 15 knots—and seas build slightly to 2 to 3 feet, still manageable but not glassy.

Sunday is the day to keep an eye on if you’re offshore. Winds run around 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots, shifting from west to northwest in the afternoon, with seas 2 to 3 feet. Sunday night turns northeast 10 to 15 knots with 2 to 3 foot seas, and the Intracoastal is forecast to move up to a moderate chop. Early next week, seas trend higher: 3 to 5 feet Monday and Monday night, occasionally up to 6 feet, with east winds 5 to 10 knots.
