PALM BEACH, FL — A tip from The Breakers started the case. Palm Beach Police say hotel staff reported a non-guest whose behavior raised concerns. Days later, according to a probable cause affidavit, an undercover officer arranged to meet the woman at HMF Bar inside The Breakers.
Diamond Gatson Donaldson, 26, of Newark, California, was arrested by Palm Beach Police and charged with one count of offer to commit prostitution, according to Palm Beach County court and jail records.
The case is filed in Palm Beach County as case number 50-2026-MM-004904-AXXX-MB.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the Palm Beach Police Department Special Investigations Unit received a crime tip from The Breakers on June 5, 2026. The tip referenced Donaldson, who police said was suspected of being involved in prostitution activity.
The affidavit states that Breakers team members reported seeing Donaldson enter HMF alone late on June 4, order one drink at the bar, and remain near the bar while engaging with multiple male guests.
Police wrote that the tip described the behavior as similar to conduct by people who had previously been trespassed from the property for alleged solicitation-related concerns.
Investigators also cited a review of prior visits, according to the affidavit. Police said that review showed Donaldson had been at the property three times in the prior month and had exhibited similar behavior.
On June 9, 2026, an undercover Palm Beach Police officer began texting Donaldson, according to the affidavit.
Police allege Donaldson agreed to meet the officer at The Breakers. During the exchange, the affidavit states, the undercover officer suggested spending time together, and Donaldson responded with language referencing being taken care of, including a money-related emoji.
The affidavit says the officer later texted Donaldson about being at the bar around 10 p.m. on June 11. Police allege Donaldson asked whether they should discuss price and later said she usually started around $2,000 for a few hours.
At about 9:40 p.m. on June 11, the undercover officer arrived at HMF Bar at The Breakers, according to the affidavit. Police said the officer was wearing a recording device and had pre-recorded Palm Beach Police covert funds.
Investigators also secured an undercover hotel room fitted with audio and video recording devices, according to the affidavit.
Police allege Donaldson and the undercover officer spoke at the bar and then moved to a hotel room. Once inside the room, the officer gave a predetermined signal that probable cause had been established, according to the affidavit.
Donaldson was arrested inside the room without incident, police wrote.
Jail records show Donaldson was booked on June 12, 2026, at 2:14 a.m. and released the same day at 1:51 p.m. Her bond was listed at $250.
Court docket entries show a not guilty plea was entered, bond was set at $250, and a no-contact order was issued. Records also show the case was continued to June 15, 2026, for case disposition.
The charge is an allegation. Donaldson is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
