The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit said 14-year-old Adrianna Mercado was found safe and unharmed and has since been reunited with her family.

The missing persons alert was issued for the teen on Sunday, April 12, according to investigators.

BSO said she was last seen at about 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, near the 2700 block of Northwest 29th Street.

BSO is the agency that handled the missing persons case through its Missing Persons Unit. The update from investigators did not include where she was located or additional details about the circumstances.

Detectives with the BSO Missing Persons Unit said Adrianna Mercado was last seen at about 2 p.m. Sunday, April 5, near the 2700 block of Northwest 29th Street.

BSO described Mercado as about 5 feet 6 inches tall and about 110 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes.

This is a missing person investigation being handled by the BSO Missing Persons Unit. BSO is asking anyone who has information about Mercado’s whereabouts to contact BSO Missing Persons Detective Chris Blankenship at 954-321-4268.

Tips can also be made through the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).
