BSO detectives are asking for help locating a missing 16-year-old last seen in the 4700 block of Southwest 14th Court in North Lauderdale.

BROWARD COUNTY, FL — Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking the public for help locating a missing 16-year-old who was last seen in North Lauderdale.

According to BSO, the teen was last seen around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, in the 4700 block of Southwest 14th Court in North Lauderdale.

BSO identified the missing teen as Shana Miller. Detectives described her as 5 feet, 4 inches tall and about 115 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

BSO is the agency handling the search and the public information request. Detectives are asking anyone who has information about her whereabouts to contact BSO Detective Leonard Charla at 954-321-4274.

Tips can also be made through the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).

Residents who may have seen Miller in the area of the 4700 block of Southwest 14th Court around the time she was last seen, or who may have information about where she went afterward, are being asked to call. BSO did not release additional details in its public request.

The next step, BSO said, is for anyone with information to contact detectives using the listed phone numbers so investigators can follow up.
