NORTH LAUDERDALE, FL (Boca Post) — A North Lauderdale man has been arrested by Broward Sheriff’s Office and charged with 6 new child **** charges to add to his existing 20 pending related charges.

According to a press release by the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Thomas Lee Jr., 30, of SW 81st Ave in North Lauderdale, is back in jail today and facing 6 new child ****charges to add to his existing 20 pending charges. Lee was on house arrest pending the trial for the original crimes he is accused of which spanned November 2017 to May 2020. Lee was placed on house arrest in July of 2021.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a tip and a new investigation began in November 2021. The investigation concluded that Lee was allegedly downloading child **** again even though a condition of his pre-trial house arrest included no access to the internet.

Lee was taken into custody by the Broward Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force on Tuesday 12/21/21 and charged with 6 new counts of ‘promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing child ****’. This makes a total of 26 child **** charges Lee now has to answer to.

Lee is currently being held at the BSO Main Jail on a $1.2 million bond.
