Boca Raton Woman Dies After Crashing In To Wall At The Polo Club

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2021 The Boca Post) — A woman has succumbed to her injuries nearly 2 weeks after crashing her car in to the parking garage wall at The Polo Club of Boca Raton.

Sandra Schwalb, an 87 year old Boca Raton woman, crashed in to the wall of a parking structure near her home at The Polo Club of Boca Raton at 5400 Champion Blvd.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, Schwalb crashed her 2019 Lexus “over the concrete parking stop and into a wall” of the parking garage structure at The Polo Club of Boca Raton on November 14th. Law enforcement reports that Schwalb “made a right turn into a parking spot (then) pressed the accelerator instead of the brake.”

Schwalb was reported to be in critical condition and paralyzed since the accident. Schwalb ultimately died from her injuries nearly 2 weeks later on November 24th.

Schwalb lived in The Polo Club on Bridleway Circle.
