LAUDERDALE LAKES, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — Deputies responded to a shooting in Lauderdale Lakes.

On Monday, December 18th, around 12:38 p.m., Broward County Regional Communications received reports of a shooting that occurred in the 4100 block of Northwest 30th Terrace in Lauderdale Lakes.

Deputies from the Broward Sheriff’s Office and the Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue swiftly responded to the scene.

Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male who had been shot. The injured individual was immediately transported by paramedics to a nearby hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. BSO’s Homicide and Crime Scene units have launched an active investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident.

As a precautionary measure, several schools in the vicinity were put on lockdown for a brief period before being lifted.
