FLORIDA — A Florida Silver Alert has been issued for a missing woman in Port Charlotte, and law enforcement is asking the public to help.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued the alert for Patricia Shea, 71, who was last known to be in the Port Charlotte area in Charlotte County.

FDLE’s flyer describes Shea as a white woman with blonde hair and hazel eyes. She is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 115 pounds.

Silver Alerts are used in Florida to help locate missing older adults, and they rely on fast public awareness, calls from residents, and tips that can help deputies narrow down where to look.
