Yellow Ribbon Fund Marks 20 Years, Raises $630K at Boca Raton Gala

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — On a Tuesday night in February, more than 300 guests filled the ballroom at The Boca Raton. Black tie. Gatsby theme. Live band.

But the cause behind it? Dead serious.

The Yellow Ribbon Fund marked its 20th anniversary with the kind of night that mixes elegance and impact. Final tally: $630,000 raised — the group’s biggest haul to date.

That money goes straight to post-9/11 service members recovering from life-altering injuries. Also to their caregivers and families.

“We started small. A few people in a room near Walter Reed,” said Gina Harrow, the nonprofit’s executive director. “Now we’ve helped over 40,000 families — and we’re just getting started” (EINPresswire)

The event, held on February 20th, 2025, had all the elements: dinner, auctions, dancing, and a keynote from Army Captain Ben Harrow — a double amputee who’s made it his mission to remind people that recovery doesn’t end when someone comes home.

“The road is long,” Harrow told the crowd. “And that’s why this kind of support matters.”

The night opened with a color guard and Jessica King singing the national anthem. Sean Spicer, who served as emcee, kept the program moving.

Guests got the glamor. But they also got the message.

Yellow Ribbon Fund now serves 2,700 veterans and 2,000 caregivers every year. Housing. Transportation. Mental health resources. It adds up.

Sponsors helped get the job done — names like EOG Resources, A1A Limo, and longtime supporters including Ed Quinn, Gary Bowman, and Mark and Suzanne Matan.

The next gala’s already on the calendar: February 27, 2026. Same place. Different theme — A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
