DEERFIELD BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — Broward Sheriff’s Office is on scene at the Deerfield Beach Fishing Pier in response to a bomb threat.

From Broward Sheriff’s Office:

At approximately 12:35 p.m., Broward County Regional Communications received a bomb threat call at Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier located at 200 NE 21st Avenue in Deerfield Beach. Broward Sheriff Office deputies have responded and are on scene working this active incident. The public is being asked to stay out of the area until further notice. No further information is available at this time.
