CORAL SPRINGS, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Coral Springs is rolling out a new public-facing business event next month, pairing its inaugural Business Expo with one of the city’s established community gatherings in downtown.
The Coral Springs Business Expo is scheduled for Friday, May 1, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the City Hall Lawn, 9500 W. Sample Road. The event will run alongside the city’s Community Concert, which already brings residents together for live music, food, and family activities. This time, the city is adding a business showcase to the mix, giving local companies a place to meet potential customers face to face while putting a wider spotlight on the people and businesses helping shape Coral Springs’ economy.
The event is being organized through the City of Coral Springs Economic Development Office, the department responsible for supporting business growth, attracting investment, and fostering job creation in the city. The office also works with businesses on development, expansion, and retention, and the Expo is being framed as another way to strengthen ties between City Hall, entrepreneurs, and the broader community.
Businesses chosen to participate will be given booth space to showcase their products, services, and stories. The city says the Expo is meant to highlight a range of industries and reflect the diversity of Coral Springs’ business community. The goal is not just promotion. It is also networking, both with residents and with other business owners.
Applications are open now for businesses that want to take part. The deadline to apply is Monday, April 6 at 12 p.m. Selected participants will represent different sectors of the local economy, with the city aiming to build an event that reflects both established businesses and newer ventures operating in Coral Springs.
For residents, the May 1 event is set up as more than a standard vendor fair. The Business Expo will be folded into the city’s Community Concert, which is scheduled to continue until 9:30 p.m. The concert lineup includes the Jamboree Latin Band and headliner FM Band Miami, along with roaming mariachi performers and character entertainment. The city is also planning face painting, inflatables, outdoor games, and arts and crafts for children.
Food trucks are also part of the evening lineup. Vendors listed by the city include Cecilie’s Gourmet Italian Ices, Moop Gelato, Heavenly Churros, How Ya Dough’n, Tijuana Taxi, Dimelo Papi Pinchos, BC Tacos, Pick’s Roasted Corn, Dank Frank’s Hot Dogs, and Marco’s Top Burger.
The city is encouraging attendees to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and reusable water bottles. A refillable water station will be available on site. The event is also dog friendly, though pets must remain on a leash and owners are required to clean up after them.
Free parking will be available at the City Hall garage. The city is also reminding attendees who drink to use a rideshare service and leave their vehicle parked at City Hall overnight if needed.
For people needing disability accommodations, the city says requests should be made at least five days before the event through its Special Events office.
The Business Expo gives Coral Springs another public venue to connect economic development work with a city event that already draws a crowd. For local businesses, it offers a direct line to residents. For residents, it adds another layer to an event built around community gathering, live entertainment, and local spending.
