I am reporting that Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit detectives say two men are now, in custody. Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit detectives found the murder victim on Sunday, Feb. 1 In western Broward County.

I read that investigators say that at 8:41 a.m. On Sunday Feb. 1 BSO deputies went to the West Broward Boat Ramp, located at 3451 North U.S. 27 Because a vehicle looked suspicious. A deputy opened the vehicle. Found a dead adult male. BSO’s Homicide and Crime Scene units went to the scene. BSO’s Biometric Unit named the adult male, as Hunter Howell.

They took Howell’s body to the Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office. Said the manner of death was homicide. I read that Detectives think the homicide happened on Saturday, Jan. 31.

After the investigation BSO detectives built cause for the arrests of Jayden DeJesus and Trevon Quinones for the murder. On Wednesday Feb. 11 Sheriff’s deputies from the Kaufman County (Texas) Sheriff’s Office stopped a car. Detained Jayden DeJesus and Trevon Quinones. The arrests followed the traffic stop. BSO’s V.I.P.E.R. (Violence Intervention Proactive Enforcement Response) Unit and the U.S. Marshals Office, in Dallas helped with the arrests. The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Miami Police Department gave assistance for the case.

DeJesus and Quinones were booked into jail in Kaufman County on charges of first-degree murder with a firearm and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence. Both men are expected to be extradited to Broward County to face the criminal charges.
