The Broward Sheriff’s Office is calling on non profit groups for their 2025–2026 fiscal year Law Enforcement Trust Fund (LETF) Workshop happening on Wednesday from 1h30 p.m.–3h30 p.m., April 30th at Fort Lauderdales African American Research Library and Cultural Center located at 2650 Sistrunk Blvd, in Fort Lauderdale city center. The objective of this session is designed specifically to guide charitable organizations through how they can apply for LETF funding support. The program is funded through seizing and forfeiting contraband involved in felony activities; according to state law BSO can utilize these funds for community purposes. Non profit organizations participating in the workshop will be briefed about the eligibility criteria to potentially receive a share of these funds. Moreover BSO personnel will be present to address queries and guide participants through the application procedure. Attending the workshop is a prerequisite, to being considered for LETF funding. Non profit organizations that are keen to participate should RSVP before noon of Monday the 28th of April by clicking here. Kindly be informed that email submissions for RSVPs are no longer being accepted. Furthermore; it is mandatory to check in upon arrival to confirm your attendance at the workshop; the LETF application will be ready for download the day following the event. Remember; the deadline for submitting the application is noon of Wednesday the 15th of May, in 2025.
