Busted: 3 Teens, 3 Stolen Cars, 1 Gun - Boca Post
BROWARD COUNTY, FL (Boca Post) — Broward County Sheriff’s Office says that their Burglary Apprehension Team (B.A.T.) arrested 3 teenagers for the theft of 3 vehicles and 1 firearm.
Broward Sheriff’s Office says that three stolen cars have been returned to their rightful owners this week as 3 teenagers have been arrested for stealing the vehicles from various parts of the county including Parkland, Sunrise, and Fort Lauderdale.
The stolen vehicles were located in Lauderhill where BSO investigators found the teenagers driving them like they were their own. A traffic stop was conducted at a gas station where one of the teenagers attempted to conceal the stolen firearm in a convenience store.
BSO is calling this a joint investigation as Fort Lauderdale Police Department’s Rapid Offender Control Unit assisted.
