At this stage, officials have only confirmed the basic facts: a helicopter crashed near the 3800 block of South Congress Avenue, police and fire rescue are on scene, and drivers should avoid the area. No timeline for reopening the area or clearing the scene was included in the initial information released by authorities.

Residents should watch for a follow-up from the Boynton Beach Police Department as more information becomes available. That next update will likely clarify the scope of the crash response and whether any road impacts remain in place.
