In Lake Worth, inspectors temporarily closed Mofongo Candela, at 3095 S. Military Trail, on June 2 after reporting roach activity.
The inspection data for that visit listed four high-priority violations, one intermediate violation, and one basic violation. State records show a follow-up inspection on June 3 was marked “Emergency Order Callback Complied,” with zero high-priority, intermediate, or basic violations listed.
The emergency closure extract listed a reopening approval time of 12:53 p.m. on June 3.
In Jupiter, inspectors temporarily closed Café De Artistes, at 318 U.S. 1, on June 2 after reporting roach activity.

In Boynton Beach, Byrds Hot Chicken was listed with five violations and an $800 fine. State inspection data shows the restaurant also appeared in this week’s inspection data, with two high-priority violations, three intermediate violations, and zero basic violations during a June 1 inspection.
In Broward, the May report listed La Union Restaurant of FLA in Margate with two violations and a $1,400 fine. State inspection data shows the restaurant also appeared in this week’s inspection activity, with four high-priority violations, eight intermediate violations, and eight basic violations during a June 5 complaint inspection.
